Continuous flow electrosynthesis, maximum flexibility
ElectraSyn flow basic is an innovative system for the continuous electro synthesis. A peristaltic pump serves for pumping the basic material / electrolyte via two flexible pipes through the electro synthesis cell.
Within this flow cell two electrodes are mounted parallel and at a short distance to each other. These electrodes, anode and cathode are connected to the power supply unit by two current-carrying conducts and supplied with direct current.
When the electrolyte is flowing into the cell (controlled by the pump), the required electro synthesis process with oxidation and reduction can take place.
The resulting product leaves the electro synthesis cell via two flexible pipes, together with possibly produced chemical by-products. ElectraSyn flow is fixed to the delivered stand in vertical position by means of a special mounting device.
This allows connecting more than one cell in series on the stand or a recirculation (several passages) of the product through the cell. The current and the flow rate can be manually infinitely adjusted by the user.
If required, a semi-permeable membrane can be mounted in the system in order to divide the cell.
A transport box serves for storage of the half-cells and the necessary parts like flexible pipes and screws.
Individual components and further electrode materials are available upon request.
